ASD Information Security Hub
The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Defence Information Security Hub (DISH) is an outreach program to engage with schools, universities & TAFE Colleges. It provides opportunities for students to undertake visits, work experience, vacation programs and internships in information and communication technology.
The Australian Government has made cyber security a top national security priority and has invested significantly in this field of endeavour. It is imperative that ASD, as the Commonwealth authority on cyber security attracts graduates of the highest calibre to inform decisions about Australia's future. The education outreach program is a proactive strategy designed to engage schools and universities in promoting ASD as a future employer in this highly competitive field.
The DISH is located at a new facility at Fairbairn, ACT.
