Joint Capabilities Group (JCG) was formed in July 2017 as a result of the formation of the Australian Defence Force Headquarters.
JCG is headed by the Chief of the Joint Capabilities (CJC), who is responsible to the Chief of Defence Force for the provision of Joint Health, Logistics, Education and Training, Information Welfare, Joint Military Police, ADF Reserve development and the implementation of Defence's responsibilities in the National Action Plan for Women Peace and Security. CJC will also manage agreed Joint projects, and their sustainment, to support joint capability requirements.
JCG consists of the Australian Defence College, Information Warfare Division, Joint Military Police Unit, Joint Health Command, Joint Logistics Command, the Australian Civil-Military Centre, the Joint Support Services Division which include Gender, Peace and Security and ADF Sport.
